Thurlby Tigers Football Club’s aim is to provide a safe, secure environment and endeavours to give the highest standard of football coaching that helps children to develop life skills as well as learn the sport, improve, enjoy and continuing playing football into their adult life.
We aspire to offer family friendly football with very best footballing opportunities for each individual and as a club we take great pride in providing young players with a playing pathway into adulthood utilising partner club links in the community

Football for all ages
We are an inclusive club offering a football Academy (U5-U6) for Boys and Girls, U7’s through to U18’s in either mixed or Girls only squads and open age football through partner linked clubs.
Our ethos ensures that we are known throughout the local area as a welcoming club who develop not just the technical playing ability but life skills of the child in an enjoyable environment.
Our primary objective is to deliver player development to maximise their potential in the game, and the life skills the game can enhance, while in a safe, fun and enjoyable environment.

Our Academy offers children in Reception and Year 1 at school the opportunity to try the sport in a friendly no pressure environment, It is incredibly popular and ensures a clear footballing pathway for children of a young age in the community.
Year on year we now offer an academy for children Reception – U6 age groups. These children then move on to form the U7 squads of the following years.
A club for life
‘Since 2006 the club has grown to see over 350 playing members and this year we’ll have an Academy of U5’s and U6’s children, alongside our squads representing every age group from U7’s to U18’s and pathway via linked clubs into adult sides for both male and female players.
We continue to work with The FA, Our core Committee including FDO on our developmental plan to expand our club offering of playing opportunities. We would welcome any interest in supporting this, which includes female only sides, disability inclusive squads, veterans and walking football.
