What do you enjoy most / least about the role you play for the club?
Most – I enjoy seeing the smiles on all of the children’s faces at training or a game as it shows we are doing something right.
Least – Putting the nets up on a cold wet wintery day.

Why did you join Thurlby Tigers FC?
? They offer a fun & safe environment for children to make new friends & to enhance their development of football through excellent support channels.
How long have you been associated to and volunteering for the club?
6 Years.
What is your favourite Tigers memory?
Beating Whittlsey 1-0 in the dying moments of a cup semi final to reach the final with a goal I would class as goal of the season if we gave an award for it.
What Professional Team do you Support?
Liverpool – Allez, Allez, Allez
Who did / do you play football for?
Stamford AFC, Bourne Town & Pointon.
Biggest game you’ve ever played in or coached?
Played in many finals (missed two penalties in a shootout) but biggest & proudest moment was coaching U9 Oranges in the cup final.
Coaching or Playing? And Why?
Coaching as I can share my knowledge with the next generation & in time they might teach me a thing or two!
Who is/was your footballing hero?
Robbie Fowler.
What three things would you take on a desert island and why?
- Hammock
- Sun hat
- Fishing rod – because I’m going to be there a while!
