Our 5-a-side and 7-a-side grass pitches at Westfield provide a great space for children to develop their skills, make new friends, and experience the fun and excitement of the game.

Match day pitches
Westfield School offers well-maintained grass pitches for training and match days. These pitches provide plenty of space for teams to play, warm up, and enjoy the game in a safe, open setting. Please help us look after the surfaces by keeping to designated areas and avoiding unnecessary wear on the grass. Smoking and dogs are not permitted anywhere on site.
Facilities on-site
Toilets are available within the nursery building, and your team’s coach will have access if needed. We ask that everyone removes muddy footwear before entering and keeps the area clean for others to use. There is an AED (defibrillator) located at the entrance to the Community Hall should it be required in an emergency.
Match day parking
Visitor parking is available in the main school car park, where the barriers will usually be raised. Please park within the marked bays and drive with care, especially when children are present. If the barriers are lowered or additional space is needed, parking is available on Kingsley Avenue – please be considerate of residents and ensure access for emergency vehicles is always maintained.
Match day behaviour
At Thurlby Tigers, we pride ourselves on promoting respect, sportsmanship, and enjoyment for everyone involved in grassroots football. We kindly ask all players, parents, and spectators to show respect to match officials, coaches, and each other. Please avoid using foul or abusive language – we want every child to leave the pitch smiling and proud of their efforts.
