We are an inclusive football club offering an academy for Reception and Year 1 children, u7’s to u18’s for boys and girls, plus open age football near Bourne.
Why we exist
Thurlby Tigers FC primary focus is to provide a friendly, safe, secure, enjoyable and supportive environment to play and enjoy football in the local community. Our aim is to make a positive contribution to the technical, social, personal, and social development to our members regardless of religion, ethnicity, gender, physical or mental barriers, age or ability.
We respond to all enquiries and where possible will provide an option for participation. Due to safeguarding ratios we may not have space or availability in all age groups. We work within the community to promote and contribute to local causes, groups and ensure Thurlby Tigers FC is truly a community-focused club.
Our ‘philosophy’
Our ethos ensures that we are known throughout the local community as a welcoming, fun and inclusive football club near Bourne, providing – Football opportunities to all ages through direct or linked partner clubs (U5-Open Age). We work alongside education settings in the community and support DofE candidates and further education courses through volunteer opportunities.
Our primary objective is to ensure players are developed to maximise their potential both as individuals and within the game.
We ensure all coaches are committed to provide the best quality coaching and encourage them to constantly improve through Club or FA led CPD or further FA qualifications.
