Why we exist
At Thurlby Tigers FC, our mission is to create a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment where everyone in the local community can enjoy playing football. We’re dedicated to making a positive impact on the technical, personal, and social development of all our members, regardless of their background, ability, or challenges they may face.
We strive to accommodate all enquiries and, wherever possible, provide opportunities to participate. However, space in some age groups may be limited due to safeguarding ratios.
As a community-focused club, we proudly collaborate with local groups and causes, ensuring that Thurlby Tigers FC is more than just a football club – it’s a cornerstone of the community.
Our philosophy
At Thurlby Tigers FC, we take pride in being a welcoming, inclusive, and fun football club serving the Bourne community. We provide football opportunities for all ages, from U5 to open-age teams, both directly and through our partner clubs. We also work closely with local schools and education providers, offering volunteer opportunities to support Duke of Edinburgh participants and further education students.
Our main goal is to help players reach their full potential, both on and off the pitch.
We’re committed to ensuring our coaches deliver high-quality training and continually develop their skills through club initiatives, FA-led CPD, and additional qualifications.
