Medical Emergency Action Plans

All of our home venues have a Medical Emergency Action Pan (MEAP)… just in case.

Taking action

Our club has a responsibility to ensure that our facilities provide a safe environment. This is provided in clearly documented plan that outlines the actions and processes for a medical emergency.

Along with appropriate levels of first aid cover, our Medical Emergency Action Plans (MEAP’s) are an integral part of the player welfare at Thurlby Tigers.

A MEAP should consider all those involved, including players, coaches, officials, first aiders, volunteers, parents and spectators. It should provide a simple, safe and systematic approach to ensure that any emergencies can be dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Helping support all associated with our club
