What do you enjoy most / least about the role you play for the club?
Most – Being part of TTFC team, seeing the players/club grow and improve over the seasons, watching my son’s Fynn and Elliot play. I also enjoy the social side meeting new people and being part of the various committees.
Least – about the role you play for the club? Standing on the touch line when its freezing cold and chucking it down with rain.

FA Level 1.
Why did you join Thurlby Tigers FC?
We were looking for a football club for our eldest son Fynn, several of his friends’ parents recommended Thurlby, we went along to the first session Fynn really enjoyed himself and we were really impressed with the coaching sessions and the set up.
How long have you been associated to and volunteering for the club?
7 years.
What is your favourite Tigers memory?
Winning the 2019 Bourne Tournament after being knocked out so many times it was so nice to see the happiness on the boys faces when we finally won.
What Professional Team do you Support?
Manchester United.
Who did / do you play football for?
I didn’t I swam for the county and raced Karts, still a bit of a petrol head and enjoy watching a bit of F1. I’ve just started playing football on a Thursday night with a few of the other coaches and parents.
Biggest game you’ve ever played in or coached?
Tournament win in 2019, but I consider every game to be fun and enjoyable.
Coaching or Playing? And Why?
I enjoy both coaching and playing its great being part of the team and keeping fit playing with friends.
Who is/was your footballing hero?
Sir Alex Ferguson, I’ve read most of his books he’s a real inspiration.
