2019-20 Season Review – TTFC U12’s Black

As usual a season of two halves (where have we heard that phrase before!) and we only played half of that so I guess it’s a season of 2 quarters!…

From Steve…

We kicked off with a win and then had a few matches with very close scores, many losing out by just one goal. After a spell of very wet weather, we resumed in the New Year in good style only to take a bit of a dip but following some really good team discussions you turned it around boys! A draw against 2nd top, followed by a win and then getting ‘robbed’ of a win against top of the table we were only heading in one direction.

At the point of everything being cancelled we still had 9 games to play and with the way you were playing and with the momentum and confidence you were building it would have been a great to see you finish this season with the form you had made possible through really hard work, so well done.

The focus for the all the coaches with this squad is development and we have seen this from all of the players, some massively and for one player in particular it has been on an astronomical scale (well done you, you know who you are!)

A massive thank you goes out to our sponsors, David Trumble of Emmett Ltd and Matt Fensom for keeping us kitted out and also to JT for running the line.

Personally, I’d also like to thank Ryan and Ross for all their hard work this season (as usual).

Hopefully, we’ll see some form of normal return soon and can pick up exactly where we left off. Here’s to next season – Under 13’s Black!
